we gave babu some avocado last night- she actually ate quite a bit of it. so far it doesn't seem like she likes the flavor of anything, after she has a teaspoon to a tablespoon she always has to follow it up with nursing. kind of like she has to wash out the taste or i think to make sure that nursing is still how feeding is going to come mostly and the sampling of food isn't a permanent adjustment. (this dooms me because i am nervous that weaning will be ..... sad and difficult. i have to say-regardless of how inappropriate, i am curious how the avocado will come out. (but Christian is home today with her-good luck to him)

She has changed so much in the past month, that in my head she has skipped ahead and isn't a baby anymore, her personality has developed so much that she really already seems like a kid. she notices so much now, she will see all the excited kids at the park, she sees all the birds flying about. she even hears the squirrels rustling behind us in the bushes.

i have noticed too, changing in myself, i find that i need her more and more, i feel so weird when she isn't within feet of me, and really require special interacting time and cuddling.

she has upgraded bath time and now plays in the "deep-end" :) she loves Lindsey's duckie, which by the way linds- stays on for HOURS after the bath.

i guess without reporting all the little things, like i think her toes are getting longer, her teeth are still coming in, her hair is lightening, she is developing this mark that looks like Tennessee on her side (can birth marks come later???)
