OUR LIFE WITH SATI

Wednesday, July 15, 2009

two days ago Sati and I went to the beach to dip our feet in the water. they had built out this walking deck to the shore, as we sat there this grandma and her grand-daughter fed the segals. Sati was in my arms flailing in excitement as all the birds flew about in front of her within 10 feet. Plus, on this particular Monday afternoon all the fathers and their little girls were at the beach. As four played around us, Sati watched in awe and jealousy as the girls dashed into the lake. I had to whisper in her ear that someday, someday she will be doing the same thing.

she is almost sitting straight up by herself. she can sit up but most of the time gets a little wabbly and needs a little support. But she is good at countering her weight to find center and re-balance.
Christian sees her teeth coming in. He is afraid that she will have his spacing problem. (the book said not to worry about this though :)

She has been very "handy/grabby" for a while now. The minute she wakes up, she is reaching for something. She is like velcro. Imagine a snow angel and how you go about making one - that is Sati's radius for reaching when she wakes.

I love reading these. at least your only 3-4 months from making real snow angels. I'm going to be waiting for maybe 5 more months. Then it'll be about the time i come visit again!!!Auntie Linds
